This is book three in the Hamden series, but I feel you could read this as a stand alone. This one is a bit different than the first two books. Wes, whom we met in the other books, has a secret lifestyle that his buddies know nothing about. Lola is a young woman raising her brother. She takes a job where she meets Wes, but he doesn't know who she is when they meet while she is tending bar. They have their moments of happiness followed by moments of stupidity. No cliffhanger. Dual point of view. I received ebooks of these books for an honest reviewI would like to introduce you to the men of Hamden! This review will include all 3 books which are: Three of Hearts, Three of Spades and Three of DiamondsI am going to do a review for all three books together instead of individually although these books could be read as stand alones they are better if you read them all together and in order as the characters from previous books appear in other books.In the first book we meet Seth. Seth is the sweet single Dad who lost his wife and is raising his kids and not looking for love until he meets Mae and he just can’t help himself. He falls hard for her and we get to experience their love story. Can you really find your one true love twice in a lifetime? I really liked both of these characters they are both really strong independent people, plus I really liked the whole family thing with the kids and all. In the Second book we get a better look at Dylan! He is sweet as well but with a hidden agenda of trying to get you in bed. I loved the things that came out of his mouth, he was just HOT! He meets Natalie who has a little proposition for him that he just can’t refuse and then we get to see how things transpire with their relationship. Will Dylan change his man whoring ways for love?In the third book we get to know Wes and WOW is what I got to say about him!! I must admit I didn’t see his story coming at all but I am not gonna lie, I loved it and I loved him! He meets Lola and falls hard for her but he has lots of secrets that could ruin him and their relationship before it even starts. Will he take a chance on love or remain the same as he has always been? I loved every character in each one of these books, not one of them annoyed me at all! Sometimes when I read one book and continue on I will get a little board with them but not with these books. The first book was already good and then I felt that they just got better and better from there. I know some might ask well which one was your favorite Hamden man , and really I couldn’t pick just one I loved all of them and all for different reasons. These are all great books and I would highly recommend them! Thank you Wendy for allowing me to read these I enjoyed them VERY much!!
