This is one of the saddest books I've ever read! honestly, the ending just messed me up I couldn't believe it could get to me like that. This is such a beautiful, well written and thought book and I'm just glad I read it. You see so much love, sacrifice, anger, betrayal a lot of emotions altogether. I must admit even though this ending will probably haunt me forever, I think it makes sense. I loved Pine Sap so much for some reason? Also, Peter and Tiger Lily's relationship was so beautiful in its own stubborn way. What a great book! This book made me cry. I don't mean a few tears. I full-out sobbed. I never wanted this book to end. It could have gone on forever and I would have not once complained. It literally broke my heart into pieces and I can honestly say my heart has stayed this way in regards to this book. I will never forget this book. I haven't found a book that has changed by opinion on it yet. It's still heartbreaking and tragic and absolutely haunting. I will never look at Peter Pan the same way. I will never like Wendy. In my head, It will ALWAYS be Peter and Tiger Lily. I read it over Easter Break 2014 when my family was on vacation in Florida. It is now Thanksgiving Break 2014 and my heart still aches when I look at quotes I've written down from this book or even look at the front cover. It's one of those books that divides your life into a Before and an After.
