I read Tight Knit after reading about it on Nyrae Dawn's website. I loved it. I sat down and read Tight Knit in an afternoon. What I liked about this book is that the characters were developed really well, it was obvious that Allie Brennan knew who her characters were and why they were the way they were and why they behaved the way they did. I also loved the knitting grandmothers in this who meddled constantly in their grandchildren's lives. It was also refreshing to encounter a bad boy character who wasn't just bad for the sake of it, who regretted his mistakes and was trying to redeem himself and who also wasn't an unlikeable character, which so often happens in novels. I also liked that it wasn't the love of a girl who changed Lachlan, he was already on the way by himself. I would highly recommend this book, it's good for a cosy, lazy rainy afternoon.
