I gave up on page 33. I found the book just did not hook me in at all. I even took the book away to read and found that I did not engage with it instead I used my I phone as a games console. I am not sure exactly what it was, whether it was the attractive male priest and the attractive female priest and the sexual tension theme that just put me into snooze mode. I did not really get into the plot so can't comment on what happens later. a local story for me! an interesting take on the suggestion that Christ visited Somerset in his lifetime; it was the most likely explanation i have ever come across though for me the jury is still out. I liked the way that pagan and Christian beliefs were woven together suggesting the ability of both to work together happily and why not?! I see no reason why any belief system should be completely right or wrong!
This was probably one of the best books I have EVER read!! Recommend anyone to pick this book up.

Her novels are starting to get very samey with the story line. But still really enjoyed.

Finished it but it's not the best book I've read by this author.
