Disappointing.I love Elizabeth Hoyt's books and I rate her as a writer, but this book is seriously disappointing. I think it is the lack of emotional character development for the hero, who basically takes advantage of a grief-numbed heroine, never listens to her, attacks her loved ones on a regular basis and generally acts with no respect or kindness to her or her family at all. We never get to see him appreciate her for anything other than bedding, which there is a lot of (and which I skipped because, with little character development it's pointless), and as a possession. FYI, possessiveness does not equal love or always lead to love and, whilst we all want a man to want us, this character took possessiveness to the point of me thinking "when does his actions become a crime against women statistic?"With so many great Hoyt books to choose from, you can easily skip this book and miss nothing of significance.
What do You think about To Desire A Devil (2009)?
A nice way to wrap up the series. As always, Elizabeth Hoyt does not disappoint.

Not my favorite of the series, but a good ending.
