I'm going to give this 3 stars even though I actually liked the book. It was just...a bit lacking in a way that I can't quite point out. What I liked was that there wasn't immediate success with the relationship and all that and that there was at least a bit of a 'realistic' struggle. Also I liked the characters themselves so that wasn't the issue. But one thing that really irked me; Matt is perfect. Sure he's insecure but he even describes himself to have model looks, having modeled before and overall being a gorgeous guy. Then he's also super intelligent of course and extremely accepting even though he's meant to be the logical guy and Channing basically defies all logic. But of course that wasn't questioned. And to top it all off he is also very athletic. Channing didn't really have a lot of info on him but surprisingly it was enough to get a good feel for the character, so I like that. Overall a good book, a quick read, lots of sex in case you like that (it was a bit much for me) some (little) action and romance. 3 out of 5 with a strong tendency upwards. I so should have re-read this ages a go! I loved it from the beginning and enjoyed Matt and Channing's journey from insta-lust to relationship until they both found their balls and admitted that they loved each other. It was somewhat rocky ride with pitfalls and stubborn refusal to say anything about feelings until the other one has said something first. And we all know how well _that_ works in a relationship... But they managed to get there and have their HEA.The story has very good combination of humor and action and it kept me entertained. Definitely going to re-read this again sometime.
Cute story. A little bit unbelievable in parts, but it had some fun twists to it.
