Nice story though there were a couple of things that gave me pause. There were very few issues and those that were there were solved rather (too) quickly. It started out good and the relationship between Ian and Caleb progressed perfectly. Friendship first and then on to sex and love. I liked that a lot. As a parent myself I had a couple of "huh?" moments in regards to the way Ian handled a couple of things with his niece, Terra. Also, I felt that the Pete thing was not really resolved. But then again, I've noticed with a couple of other books that I have read by this author that certain things (important things) are brought up but never really mentioned again. The Pete thing was handled but I felt that it was unfinished.Overall a good story. *sighs* were do I start, probably wishing this book didnt end. firstly a quick over view of the storyline. This is the story of Caleb , a police officer hard working, honest and in need of somone to love, and Ian the local mechanic , who after loosing his sister tragically takes in his niece and tries to get on with life best he can. Only thing is Ian has a secret, no one knows and thats defiantly the way its going to stay, Up until one very big very sexy blue eyed police officer comes knocking on his door. This book was just so beautifully written, you cant help but fall in love with the characters almost immediatly. The way Ian and Caleb dance around their attraction for one another and then the way Caleb gently shows Ian there is nothing to fear in realizing that loving someone can be the most wonderful of things.Caleb nudges Ian into accepting who he is and building toward a happy future together.Every time the author described the look of calebs blue eyes looking at Ian, you could almost feel the pull yourself, You could feel the love and emotion with each and every touch and look they gave each other. Yes the love scenes and I do call them love scenes not just sex scenes because thats what was felt when reading them, were so well written. wow they just made you really belive in love for ever. The story of Caleb and Ian is not just a romantic read it is a journey filled with the warmth of the sun on a winters day. It cocoons you , takes you under and leaves you renewed.loved it
What do You think about Tougher To Love (2012)?
Very cute! Loved the ending. Ian and especially Caleb were wonderful characters. Light and romantic.
