When portrait artist Ella is given the commission to paint her sister's fiance, Nate, she dreads it. She has hated Nate since the first time she met him. But she soon learns that she may have misjudged him - badly. In fact, she is about to find out that her opinion of Nate might not be the only thing in her life that she's been mistaken about. After all, secrets tend to come out while an artist is painting a portrait.I loved this book. Just loved it. And after I had completely devoured it, I immediately wanted to read every book Isabel Wolff has ever written. I loved that I truly cared about the characters and the plot. I loved that I wouldn't be embarrassed to recommend this book to my mother (hooray for clean books!). I loved that I totally didn't predict the main twist in the plot even though the clues were there - I love it when an author can trick me like that. But mostly I think perhaps this was just the perfect book for me at the moment - not too fluffy, not too serious - just the right combination of both. Great characters, well-paced plot, and a happy ending. What more could I ask for? :)I now have a pile of Isabel Wolff books waiting for me. I can't wait. :)
What do You think about Tout Ton Portrait (2011)?
