I got on the next book in the series, cause i liked the main fantasy idea, not the books.I have to say here the author got better with personalizing the characters. The heroine has a story to tell and further development in the book, which i did not see in the first book.So overall here i can say the book was good in characters and plot. This is a book i would recommend for fantasy lovers to pass time. Ok so let me tell you why I gave this book 4 stars because of the three books I have read so far I liked it the least and it wasn't because of the characters. The author has taken the style of going over with each book the point in time where this set of women get abducted. OK that's cool but I need more of a different perspective to not feel like I'm reading the same stuff over and over again and this lasted for what 50% of the book. Really! Look I this the idea is really cool but don't work on it more than the story. The potential of the book was greater than what was delivered.... bummer. Now why I really like the story was that Trisha was a kick butt kind of gal and I loved that. I loved the fact that you brought in more guys so the hope that we can have more stories about a different group of women from earth got me excited. (diversity) :-) I just wish we had more of the story in the present or a better build up for the future (that doesn't revolve around the girls) Not that they aren't worth reading about but...I know the author has all these spin off books I hope I just don't lose interest in the story line before I'm ready to read them. I'm not really good with "same ole sh*t, different toilet".
