I need to close them before I accidentally see you.” I hear his sharp intake of breath before he speaks. “Leave them.” “But just last night you said I couldn’t look. Are you really ready now?” “I don’t know if I’ll ever be fully ready, but just the fact that you’re thinking of me before anything else makes it okay. You can look at me if you want.” “If I want?
