Book one of a series of three (to date) and a stand alone. Not going to repeat the story in my own words, its done quite adequately elsewhere. I almost didn't read Trapped Under Ice since rocker romances tend to push all the wrong buttons but this one is tame and sweet in comparison to the few I've read.I didn't love it and I didn't hate it. It tended to drag in places with too much attention paid to superfluous day to day detail that adds little to the story. If you're looking for sexually explicit sex scenes you won't find them in here but you will find a sweet adult romance with a bit of mystery. Trapped Under Ice was my first MJ Schiller book. I'm looking forward to reading the next in this series.I think everyone's had fantasies about meeting and connecting with someone famous. Where are you, George Clooney? But all kidding aside, Ms. Schiller gives her larger-than-life hero, Chad, depth, humanity, and feet of clay. He's not saddled with an ugly ego. The heroine, Beth, is warm and realistic and proud of her humble yet fulfilling life though she's not a stranger to pain either. To watch them interact, respond, and yes, fall for each other is downright enjoyable. If it were only that simple. Unfortunately, there's a sinister cloud hovering over the love birds and an exciting climax that I didn't see coming. This was a satisfying read.
What do You think about Trapped Under Ice (2013)?
