I really enjoyed this- it's not my typical 4 star read but it was quite fast paced, it had some steam, lots and lots of feistiness which I enjoyed, a lot of emotions going back and forth ... will he trust her, will she trust him - back and forth... and I really enjoyed it. It was a romance with a flavour of who-dunnit and crime... enoyed! I'm probably in the minority but I preferred this one to book 1! I liked the first one in this series a lot, but this one just fell short. It was drama, drama, drama with nearly everything in exclamation points. I could have lived with that part except for the fact that I felt the hero was totally unlikeable, downright mean and cruel to the heroine, and constantly with another woman. I never felt he valued her much at all, continually calling her mean names and hurting her. Just ridiculous and not in an alpha protective way but rather an abusive way. So, this book was really not for me. I hope the next one is better, as I do have the next one on my Kindle and will give it a go. I can't wait to read Adam's story.
What do You think about Trish, Just Trish (2000)?
I liked Trish/Tony. I just wish the books were longer with more back story of the characters.
