This story (which takes place around the end of season 2?) feels like one of the ripoff tv episodes that is built solely around flashbacks intstead of doing any real advancment of the plot. In this book, an imp takes the Merlotte's crew hostage and forces them to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets. Boring. I'm not sure if it's due to reading the novels or just watching the tv show, but nothing revealed in the flashbacks felt new/surprising/intriguing. The characters are drawn to look like the tv show actors, but the comic medium does allow for some special visual effects that would be more difficult to achieve on screen. However, the finished product is lackluster. Pass! As with all things that are based on a TV or movie that have been based on a book series I entered into this graphic novel with a bit of salt. I am happy to say that I didn't need it. This graphic novel, which should be pretty obvious baed on the picture from the front cover, is based on the tv show not the books. It did a great job showing some insite as to why certain people in the TV universe act the way they do. It was a good read adn nice art, I espically liked LaFayette's story.
Worthless. Waste of money. Awful. Just awful. Pretty much like the show is turning out to be.

I gave up. Just couldn't read it. I'd rather watch an episode than read it.

Excellent art, and fun story. More Jessica in the next book, I hope. :)

It's True Blood, what do you expect? Walt Whitman?

This felt rather contrived and just tacked on.
