It's so hard to find a good series..... and I'm gonna have to keep looking, cause this series is to lame.-not even 400 pages-the main female was homeschool...and her parents knew people would try to hurt her... why didnt they teach her self defence?-the main female is 17, the worst age to write about, every book with a person younger then 18 is normaly whiny and ... well acts like a teenager (full of them self, thinks they know everything)-she is to shy/bashful-she is seriosly week and whines like a newborn kitten... wait kittens are braver then herMany, Many more reasons that this series is just to...... Horrible. i didnt find this on a YA list but this book should appease 10-13 yr old. I found this book on STONG FEMALE ADULT BOOK LIST, so misleading. My opinon? Don't waste your time on this series This book was free for kindle, so I grabbed it a looooong time ago. I ended up reading it because it was the only thing that looked interesting, I was on a trip, and had just finished a book.What a nice suprise it turned out to be.With enough magic, character development and world building to firmly set the foundation for a nice series, this ended up being a quick read. There is also some of the paranormal romance flavor to it (well, quite a bit, really), but it wasn't enough to annoy someone who doesn't usually frequent that scene (me). If you like the fae or magic at all, go ahead and give this one a chance.
