I expected this book to be a relaxing read. I'm usually attracted to books that make me cry because the raw human emotion you have to put behind the story. I've never been more wrong about a book. It broke my heart and made me feel like there was no hope in the world. I cried for about an hour. This wasn't a book that made me tear up and shed a tear or two. It broke me in a way that few books can. The last time I cried this hard was in Allegiant, but i was finishing that up in a classroom after a test, thus making me cry less than at 12:00 am alone at home. Anyway I loved this book and recommend it to all. SPOILER ALERTS!!!!! I was very interested in this book. I was very upset at the outcome though. What happens is the main character falls in love with this boy which ended up was spying on her. But he took his life for her. I was very upset with him dying and I do not approve of when her friend Sam doesn't talk to her again. Or so we know. This girls dad has been working with the mob so she decides to take it in her own hands. Also her dad went missing and she at the same time she is trying to find him. A lot of stuff went down in this book and I was half and half with the ending. The book was a great read though.
Good lord the feelings this book evoked out of me... I need the second book now!!
