I can't say what it is about this book that keeps me thinking about the story line long after I've finished it, but it does. Delilah Blue is a little girl lost character who struggles to find out who she really is and what she wants, along with her mother and father. This is a beautifully written novel. Its poignancy stays with you long after you turn the last page. I love Tish Cohen's writing style--open, honest, and forthright--a real gift. I'm only really reviewing this book because i got it for free from goodreads. I would have otherwise just given it the two stars and walked away forever. The story was interesting enough to read all the way through but the characters were not very likable. The author has a very limited knowledge of early Alzheimers. I've never seen it diagnosed so quickly and easily and everyone pick up on it right away like that. (I work with the elderly population, I've seen how this goes with families). And Lila just falling in love with Adam because he's there...I may just give this book away...want it?
