In order to like this book, you have to have the right expectations. This is not going to be a page turner, or a deeply gripping novel, or one filled with angst and climatic plot developments. Nor will it be too memorable. What left then you ask? This is that book you want to read when life is stressful enough, where you want to read mushy sappy dialog that is repetitive between an alpha male and a somewhat nondescript female heroine. With billionaire good looks and just enough arrogance to make you pant at the sex scenes. When plot developments take a while to develop and more or less are like cheap sparklers (type of fireworks), bright one second but quickly die out. Book two I am midday through and it is more of the same. Ironically, given stressful pt in my life with work, having a guaranteed sappy moment does it for me right now. But those who easily get annoyed and roll their eyes at really unrealistic romances that are way too good to be true, likely should not spend your time on this one. 5 Stars!!!I absolutely loved this book. I have to say I am a sucker for a good love story and this is by far a great one. Let's not forget to mention that it is a story about an Italian man who just happens to be sexy and charming. I Love me a hot Italian man, and from reading this book I now even know a little Italian. :) Ava decides to move from Denver, Colorado to Phoenix, Arizona for a fresh start. She needs her independence to prove to herself she can go on in life without a man. She makes a plan not to have sex with another man or get involved for at least one year, but that all changes when she meets Enzo on the plane to Phoenix. Enzo is a very rich man and known for his work in architecture especially in Phoenix. Enzo shows Ava that love is real, and that he is very serious about her from the start. We get to see these two fall in love, and fast. A love that is deep, and that brings these two alive. There are of course some bumps in the road through the story. Wouldn't be a love story without a little drama. Did I mention, that Enzo and Ava have some steamy hot sex as well! Who doesn't love a good story with that. ;) There were so many moments when I would find myself smiling and laughing with the characters as if I were there with them. This story really pulled me and made it hard to stop reading at times. I am so excited to continue reading this trilogy. If you love reading romance and want a book with a happy ending then this story would be it! I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more from Jennifer Domenico.
