2.5 starsI liked the premise for the plot. Having the male MC's memory wiped was an interesting start.Even though I know this is supposed to be a light-hearted read, my issues with this book is that the female MC has way too much power. There is no one comparable to her in power. This makes the story feel unbalanced. I'm going to bring an example to explain why this didn't work. (do not read this if you don't want Harry Potter spoilers)If you take Harry Potter for example, yes, he is the only one who can stand up to Lord Voldemort, but Harry doesn't have extraordinary power. He is a wizard just like everyone else. The only reason he can stand up to lord Voldemort is because of you know what with the souls (that you find out in book 7). Against any other wizard, Harry Potter doesn't have any kind of advantage. So you see, in Harry's story, he is special, but not super powerful in a way that it makes it annoying. I hope that explained it.I was a little disappointed with the plot too. I expected the book to finish with a shebang, but it didn't. A great continuation of the first book. I just cant get over how much I enjoy Belle's witty and most of the time rude mouth. She cracks me up almost everytime she speaks. Sharridan and Belle's relation ship reminds me a lot of my own best friend and myself. The easy bantering they have between one another. The story continues with Rome(Mmm.....) loosing his memory. Memory Man stole them from him. Now everything is in the air. Belle loves him more than air, but he doesnt remember her. In fact the only thing he can remember is trying to make up with Lexis(Yuk! Gag me with a spoon). She truned out to be such a piece of work. Belle encounters more scrims and personal challenges in this next addition. If you liked the first book, it only gets better. And now for me to check to see when book 3 will be coming out. And LORD I hope there is a book 3!Thankx Gena! Write on!
