I was very disappointed in this book; I know there was the warning of some 18+ scenes! but the whole story seemed to be sex with the odd bit of sappy romance thrown in, and not really any storyline. From previous shifter books I've read I've come to expect backstory, drama, information about packs, and a decent amount of violence. This book had none of the above. Ok, there was about a paragraph or 2 of a violence, and some info about (surprise surprise) the pack's sexual tendencies, but that was all. I wasn't expecting a huge amount from a book so short, but I wasn't expecting to come out of the book just as clueless as when I went into it. Thank god it was free! I liked this novella. I have seen other people review it (on amazon), and give it some reviews about it not being fully developed. The book itself is less than 200 pages, so unless the author moved things along at the pace she did, then it would be missing a lot more. Overall, I liked it. It took me less than two hours to read (about 1.25 hours). Its not a life shattering short story, but I found it worth reading, and I enjoyed the small distraction from the rest of my day. Very steamy, and I loved how caring the male characters were.
