This series is one of my all-time favorites, and Scott Westerfeld has become one of my favorite authors. This series takes an in-depth look at one of society's worst problems: being too superficial, and loosing what makes us human. This is a series I would recommend to anyone, but especially teenagers and young adults. There is an important message wrapped up in this fantastic adventure, and if you like hover-boards and humor, this is the series for you. Review for Extras:I absolutely loved this book...until the end. It wasn't that I disagreed with the ending or that it didn't go the way I wanted it to. It was just a terrible way to end the book. All the suspence and buildup led to nothing. It was a huge disappointment to me. Now, that said, I would read it again. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and now that I know what to expect, I think I could look past the crappy ending and just read it for the sake of reading the wonderful rest of the story.
What do You think about Uglies Quartet: Uglies; Pretties; Specials; Extras (2013)?
Very detailed, kept me reading most of the time, and it was a nice diversion from real life.

Very thought provoking series, and supremely well written.
