A suspenseful book but it would be best to read the other books in the series in order before reading this one.Young women are being killed in Corbin County and the killer has been dubbed the Slasher. The targeted women are those closest to the Callahan cousins. Wayne Sorenson has always seemed to act on the side of the cousins but his daughter Amelia finds incriminating evidence that Wayne is not all he seems to be. She goes to Crowe Callahan with the evidence. Could Wayne be the Slasher or know who the killer is? I'm sorry to say this book was a disappointment and not at all like others I have read by this author. She has some very good series. This book was painfully difficult to follow. It was poorly written and did not seem to be edited or proofed. Don't waste your time on it or the other three in this series. If you want to read something good by this author I recommend Tempting Navy SEALs, Elite Ops, or Bound Hearts. All have good plots and sexy heroes.
