Una Particolare Specie Di Tentazione (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I would have given this book five stars, but I couldn't, and I know this is a lame reason, because of the hero's name. Woody, really? All I could picture in my mind was Woody Haralson, whom I don't particularly like, or Woody from Toy Story. So, in my mind, he became Bodie, and then things were much better. I've read lots of books by Savannah/Susan Fox/Susan Lyons, and I've liked them all. I plan to read the others in this series. Well that was disappointing and quite boring for the most part. The concept behind the stories I think has merit but this book really sucked LOL How do we go from a hot sexual encounter on page 10 to 150 pages of ridiculousness. i really need to know! we spent over half the book just waiting for someone, anyone, to just have a frikkin conversation and say what you really mean. And who stays married to a man who doesn't give you orgasms? what are you, twelve?! And what man has mind-blowing sex with a woman in a conference room and then says .... OUT LOUD ... yeah, that was crappy. WHO DOES THAT?! No one, that's who.I am all about fiction being fantasy and using your imagination when you read because it may not always be true to form to what you perceive life to be. But this went beyond fiction to fantasy land and merged into candyland. I'm not even sure how I got thru the whole book LOLI will read the next two because I really do love the concept behind the stories, book club books interweaving with real life, and I am hoping that this was just a fluke.

Wish there was more of the book club girls, but I LOVED this couple!!! What a great fun read!!!
