Okay, this book's a bit odd to me but eventually I kind of liked it. Definitely my guilty pleasure. Ed and Fiona IS NOT blood-related. He married Fiona's aunt so technically he's a stranger. But he did grow up with her so if I were her I'd definitely feel weird if.. Okay, don't even go there. But still, for some people this book is indeed taboo. Personally to me, I enjoyed it even though it's not exactly my favorite. Not too bad. Um, the asphyxiation with a pearl necklace was a little edgy and unexpected. Not a bad read, the title is creepy and little misleading. I almost did not read this because of the title and cover. Incest books have a very fine line they must walk between taboo/hot and just plain icky. The title and cover cross the icky line for me. I was pleasantly surprised that the book however stayed in on the taboo/hot side. Not bad would recommend it if you can handle that sort of thing.
At first I didn't know how I would like this book, but don't be fooled, this is an incredible read!
