Uncovering You 5: Confessions (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
Miss Edwards met her readers challenge and surpassed my expectation. This book is far superior than the previous ones that to me felt lacking. I really enjoyed the roller coaster ride of emotions and the intrigue that circumvented the telling. Jeremy who reads like a sociopath claimed my interest he is so unpredictable. One of his characteristics shows that he loves Lily and fears her abandoning him and I reasoned this is why he controls everything about her. Although I sense that this aspect of her kidnapping was not apparent to him at first. Oh Mr Stonehart is many layers of a condensed mystery that Miss Edwards peels away like the leaves of a cabbage in each chapter of her book. So I wait patiently for the next book to find a resolution to the why for all of the suffering and still feel tethered to a never ending story. Thank you Miss Edwards for taking the time to listen to your readers and entertain revamping the stories to make them what we want to read. Your attention has resonated across the web............ Poor story progression, in spite of all the new information given, it is still unknown WHY Lilly was taken. She obviously has no idea of any direct involvement in whatever injustice Jeremy feels he must revenge. Jeremy is a sociopath and I am disappointed that Lilly did not use the opportunity when meeting her BEST FRIEND's MOTHER to enlist help for herself, and escape from this madman. The events in this book are not making any more sense than they have in the first 4 books and there are untold books yet to be written and published. It is unfathomable to me that this could evolve into a love story. Given that Lilly did not seize her first chance to run like hell, hopefully, without enduring too much further abuse, she will be able to make her escape and enact payback for all she has gone through.
