Well, well, well. What can I say?! I'll be perfectly honest, I was a tad hesitant to read UDS. I love, adore, and praise Amy Bartol over her work with the Premonition Series, and I loooovvvve Reed. However, now that I have finished UDS, I'm not quite sure why the hell I was delaying myself the gratification that I discovered once reading this book. I now have a love for both series; something I wasn't sure was going to be possible. Not only do I love and want Reed, but Trey has a huge place in my heart and mind; a place that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to give to anyone else. I enjoyed every bit of the character's dynamic, watching their story unfold before my very eyes. I believe I felt just about every emotion possible while reading, and I was so intrigued and invested that I could not put the book down!!So, in summation, thank you AGAIN, Amy, for an incredible work of art, and for having such an amazingly creative vision and sharing same with all of us. It is an honor to be inside your mind, and I can't wait for Sea of Stars!!!! Given To Me For An Honest ReviewUnder Different Stars (The Kricket Series Book 1) by Ama A. Bartol is a must read. Once you begin it will grab you and hold you on to the edge of your seat. You'll find yourself turning page, after page and turning more pages until you finish. There are twists and turns but you keep your book open until you finish reading it. Kircket's life hasn't been an easy one at all. She has been in foster care for some time. She decides to run away. All she wants to do is work and lay low until she turns 18. All is good until she is kidnapped and taken to her "home" - Ethar. What is Kricket going to discover in Ethar? Will she recognize it at all? Is she really what she has been told she is? There is a lot of action from the beginning until the end. You will love reading this book just as I did. I gave this book 5 stars but it clearly deserves more. I highly recommend this book to everyone. I look for more from Amy A Bartol. Can't wait for Book 2!
