Personally, I absolutely loved this book. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like about it. I like the fact that the book was written in blog form, which made it seem like Katie is a girl you can actually relate to. It felt like I was right along side of her, witnessing it all. From beginning, to middle, to end, everything all came together, and I was never left wondering what was going on. Definitely 5 stars from me. It's my favorite book!! I really hated the character of Katie. If she was my daughter I would feed her to the wolves. Also her use of Ha! really annoyed me. If you leave off the Ha! it's dark humor not just an awful joke.HOWEVERAt the end it takes a twist. It turns out to be a more modern "Go Ask Alice". Did Katie/Amy really go off and get killed or kill herself, or was she writing as her mother? I expected it to end with her living with Glenn the rapist and starting life over, but I guess the real end is better. She dies. Hate the protagonist, loved the story, even though it was probably a fake blog after all. Allison Burnett is a great writer.
What do You think about Undiscovered Gyrl (2009)?
The ending was a bit confusing, but I could NOT put this book down.
