Unfriendly Competition (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

Unfriendly Competition By Jessica BurkhartRealistic Fiction178 pages Unfriendly competition is the twelfth book in the series by Jessica Burkhart. In this book, a mysterious blog was written in the last book. Now the besties, Sasha, Brit, Heather, Julia, and Allison were called to the Headmistress office and they were suspected to be doing the mean blogging because the signal came from their rooms and the one doing it will be suspended. Meanwhile, the girls are planning Heathers 13th birthday Party, until the girls learn that Heathers mom has already planned to through her the best party ever. The girls saw how disappointed Heather was and decided to still put no Heathers dream birthday. Then came Heathers big day. After classes, the girls got ready and met their dates at the party. Sasha and her dates, Jacob, had a great time. The girl’s after party was an even better blast. Besides the birthday, a new girl came to Canterwood. She is also from Sasha’s little hometown and school, Briar Creek. Sasha was terrified that the new girl, Lauren will take her “spot.” At the stable, Sasha was preparing for The Huntington show. She and all the team members ended up doing very well it the show and they got an overall 2nd place. Near the end of the book, Heather text Sasha and tells her to get into Julia’s room ASAP. Heather found out who has been doing the blogging. JULIA. Heather forced her to turn her self in and that was the end of Julia and Canterwood Crest. Sasha also found out that Lauren is a good person and is willing to help prove that Briar Creek is an awesome place. And with that, the book ends. Also, sadly, this is the last book involving Sasha Silver because she graduates from the middle school. Good ending for the last book of the best horse series I've read. I'm happy to see Sasha and her friends head to high school and Lauren take the reins. I think the ending and the whole book was nicely thought out, and i'm surprized to see Julia go. Seeing Julia be the "bad" blogger was really interesting. I should of thought it would of happened, but it just came to me. I didnt really find any things I didnt like in the book. Very good series.

What do You think about Unfriendly Competition (2011)?

I loved the whole series and wish Sasha wouldn't have picked Jacob but a girl can't have everything.
