I received this book from the author for an honest to goodness review. I am a part of the Review Team @ The Paranormal Bookshelf. Category: Paranormal, multi-genres, witty humor, adult 18+Spoilers: NONEBook #1 in The Case Files of Dr. Matilda Schmidt, Paranormal Psychologist Series As a book I have been so excited to read, I was not disappointed at all when I finally got to do it. This book was funny and witty in so many ways. The author did a wonderful job in allowing the leading lady, Matilda AKA Dr. Schmidt to be strong and smart without making her seem to high and mighty. She is a lovable character and I just loved how she grew throughout the story. The males in the story also captured my heart and I can't wait to see how things continue to play out. My favorite character of the entire book had to be Cupid though. The imagery that he created in my head was just too cute. You will have to read this to understand what I am talking about, but it is definitely cute. So I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars. I will definitely be reading the next book ASAP. This was the funniest paranormal romance I have read to date!!!! All Dr. Matilda Schmidt wants to do is go to work, make money to pay her bills. When she ends up with Cupid as a patient, she doesnt know if shes gone nuts or if its real. But during their first meeting she is kidnapped due to mistaken identity, Cupid, thinking hes going to be shot jumps in her computer bag. And when the kidnapper and Cupid get into a fight, Cupid uses his only line of defense...one of his arrows!!!
