I have to say that this was my favourite in the Love Inc. series. I loved Marchant with all his issues (have I said before that I love a man with issues... in books??). Even though the issues of his past weren't exactly as hideous and grotesque as I thought they might be, I just love the way that James can write messed up heroes! I also really appreciate the way she can write a strong female main too. They are rarely insipid, or whiny... they do occasionally giggle and they might often cry (in Unmaking Marchant there seemed to be a fair few occasions whereby the heroine found herself crying)but they usually have other characteristics that balance them out which I really like. The storyline was good but Marchant made it for me (cause I love a messed up hero!. I have really enjoyed this series and I will definitely be reading the novella as soon as I can get my hands on it! Love your work Ms James! 4- 4.5 stars. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.Ella James wrote an easy read, light feeling, fun book. I really enjoyed this story. It wasn't extremely hard to find myself thinking about the characters after I put the book down once I got about 10% into it. Suri and Marchant weren't difficult characters to follow or identify with. They were fun and light. I like books that don't require me to spend most of the time reading in an in-depth though process to figure out whats going on.There was an awful lot of cussing from the male point of view. I found it to be mildly distracting. Which I find odd since I write my own books with it inside so I'm not exactly sure what it was that bothered me about it exactly. It just took away from the story. Sometimes it felt like it was there just to be there. That being said - it really was a good book. I want to know what happens to them because the ending was a mild cliff hanger. Which I always like.I'd also like to learn more about Suri's parents and Marchant's sister.the secondary characters were good too. Because it was in first person either Suri or Marchant's POV you didn't get to experience much from these other characters which was sad because I was very curious about them.I didn't realize this book was a series book until I noticed the '#3' on the Goodreads book. Nothing about this book made me feel like I was missing something just because I hadn't read the first two.Overall this was a solid 4 star book.
