And the hunt for the prototype is very dangerous and the one behind it is allied with their greatest enemy.One of the things about Urban Fantasy is how well the world built by the author, supports the story. I was impressed by the relations of the Lupi, various magical beings and the Police and Government's portrayals in this story.I loved Lily and Rule and the characters and their roles. The plot was engrossing (if a bit on the complicated side) and action packed. World of the Lupi has now become my favorite series, and this book continues that trend. The 4 star rating is only because there is a curious lack of tension in this one even though the situations in it are quite intense. But I loved it and the world that Eileen Wilks has created and all the people in that world. In this one, Rule discovers he has a half-brother when he is contacted after an artifact is stolen from Clanhome. Robert Friars is of course involved as are Elves. There is an appearance by Beth, Lily's sister and of course Grandmother is present. And Al Drummond the ghost of the former FBI agent gone bad is now fighting for Lily. Great stuff!
