Where to begin with this book? The premise of this book was very similar to many others out right now. And I actually started off enjoying this book. Meeting a guy online... interesting online conversation...But it got real old, real fast. I wanted to stop at about the 20% mark, and couldn't believe I was only at the 20% mark. The Hero (if you can call him that), is a bit much when they first meet and it was almost too cutesy and cheesy (brushing her hair, Really?). Then you are told he has a past, but not much more... OK, so I'll read on. Seriously, he went from being annoying to being a drunken loser with a stalker ex.The heroine (if you call her that), has no backbone. She was just weak. I understand she is trying to be supportive, but really she just kept taking is douchebaggery. WHY?? No backbone!!I didn't feel a connection between the two of them when they were together, and the sex scenes were randomly thrown in and furthered the lack of connection between the H/h.Also, the travel times in the car were WAY off. Nothing annoys me more than when they are talking about taking days to travel from NOLA to FLA. Seriously!! All in all, I skimmed the last 25% of the book. I skipped the sex scenes entirely at that point, because there wasn't a connection between the characters (at least not the sense I got). So why would the sex be hot and steamy --- that's not love but rather just sex. HOLY F*CKING SHIT!!! What have I just read!?!?!! :o Wow! This story was intense and held me all the way through!! Kayden, a sweet, loving man with a terrible past and a tortured soul, thinking he could never love again...Until Sophia. What a match made in heaven if I do say so myself! As the book went on it got more intense...I couldn't put it down, and read 60% straight up...I even forgot to eat! It brang a lump to my throat a few times, also frustrated me in others. But this book was amazing! I can't describe in any more words how this book captivated me!Well done Chelle!!! Amazing work as usual!!*****HIGHLY RECOMMENDED******
