Unvergessliches Verlangen: Roman (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
it was a great story to read! I really liked it because the dynamic between the two was so sad, they ruined their relationship over a bunch of lies, without even talking to each other. the only thing that completely bothered me to no end is her willingness to forgive him. like some things are forgiveable and some are not, such as what Jack did to Livvy's cousin. Like no... you can't forgive that, if you do, you're just really sad and stupid. I don't know. this book was great but there was too many unforgivable things that Jack did, that just bothered me to no end that she was able to sweep it under the rug. for that, I have to give it a 3.5, because you can't forgive someone who does that shit so easily ... I don't know. I received this at the 2010 RWA conference in Orlando and almost decided not to read it (too many other books to read and hesitated to begin another series!). Something made me change my mind and what a good decision! I could hardly put it down and can't wait to read the rest of the series. Well-rounded characters (both main & secondary); history buffs may be satisfied w/details; dialogue & humor nicely done for the times. Conflict between hero & heroine had me turning the pages. Adding Eileen Dreyer to my list of authors I like.

Exciting read full of interesting supporting characters, passion, action and drama. I enjoyed it.
