"Sunshine" By Richelle MeadA good short story. I became interested in this world very quickly after starting the story and it had some great characters that I wanted to read more about. I think this would be good as a longer story on its own as I would love to have had more to read. That being said, this story has definitely made me want to read more of Mead's novels.4.5 Stars"Bring Me To Life" By Alyson NoëlWhile this story was slow to start, by the end I was absolutely in love with this story and it's characters. It was very well written and, once the initial introduction part of the story was over, kept me interested right util the end. My only complaint is that it's not longer! I would love to read more of this story and these characters.4 Stars"Above" By Kristin CastI wasn't overly keen on this story. Cast's writing style didn't really impress me. While I'm sure others may find her kind of writing appealing and stylish, to me it seemed unnecessary and didn't help the flow of the story at all, which was not a good thing as I wasn't entirely sure what was supposed to be going on half the time anyway and found myself having to go back and re-read pages to see if I had missed some kind of explanation (I never had). This was not a terrible story by any means, it was OK but that is as far as it goes for me.2 Stars"Hunting Kat" By Kelley ArmstrongThis story is a full adventure from beginning to end. The action never stops, added to the intrigue and mystery involved in who Kat can trust made sure I was gripped from beginning to end with this story. I would definitely love to read more from these characters, which is the only reason this story has lost a star from me; I feel like there is much more to be told from these characters and the story is really only just beginning.4 Stars"Lilith" By Francesca Lia BlockAs with "Above" I wasn't overly keen on this story. To be honest, the entire story seemed a bit pointless and the characters weren't given nearly enough time to develop as I normally like. I can't say I hated it, I just didn't particularly enjoy it either.2 StarsOverall, 3 great stories and 2 OK ones. This is definitely a book I would recommend to my friends and I would love to read more from the authored of the 3 great stories. 3.5. Stars, rounded up to 4. I love that Richelle Mead write this about Lissa's parents but it does not example the reason why lissa is sprit. Maybe I was hoping it will but it make you think. I Love the frist time Lissa's parents meet each other and sence when they are together. Now I know where Lissa get her gentle personally and leadership from. We hear few characters we may know in the future books or now books and for some reason I cannot remember there names... I try not to make it sound like it bad and I that hate it because I not. I love it!! The short story is dark, romantic and full of mysterious in that short amount of time. It have the Vampire Academy book one feel with the high school drama. We know what happen to lissa's parent in the begging of Vampire Academy but it seen not fair because you love them. I wish Richelle give a life story of Lissa's parent all the way to accident -to know how happy they were as a couple and as mother and father... With everything that going on in this short story -it hard to put it down. You just want to finish it and want to know what going happen next. Richelle Mead (clapping hands) good job on this short story and I cannot wait for your next books!! _Kathy Y
What do You think about Verdammt (2012)?
I'm giving it three out of five because I only read three of the stories.

I only read the Kelley Armstrong short. So the rating is for that.
