This book starts a year after book one ends. We didn't get to read a lot about Crash in the beginning. However, I loved the fact how much Sora had grown as a character between book 1 and 2. She learned the art of healing as well as worked on her combat/fighting skills so as to keep up with the new threats and not be weak. She is definitely working towards getting physically strong and missing Crash at the same time. I loved how we get to find out more about Crash/Viper as a character. He is a very complex character. What drives him? I enjoyed reading from his perspective and his growing likeness for Sora. I felt his character grew as well between book 1 and 2 which is always good! Ok. May I just say how much I freakin love this series! I mean the adventure, action, and slow-burn romance are the best! In this book we see Sora and Crash's relationship develop slowly into something more. I absolutely love the premise of the book and all the new characters introduced. The dracians are one of the best additions to the book with their mischief and fun. And then Ferran, even though he's not in the book a whole lot, seems interesting enough. Volcrian is increasing in eviless- I love a good villain- and is hell-bent on tracking down Crash, Burn and Sora. I can't wait for the final face-off between these characters! The storyline is nice and structured and just plain enjoyable. No part dragged for me and everything had a purpose and place in the story. I'm can't wait to read the next book, Volcrian's Hunt. Plus, I just want to read more of Crash and Sora.
What do You think about Viper's Creed (2012)?
Another good installment in the series. Learning more about Crash and his background was fun.
