Meine Meinung:Das Buch ist in 3 Teile geteilt. Im Schlaf, Verfolgt und Wach. Zu Beginn des Buches beschreibt die Autorin die Szenerie, aber irgendwie weiß man trotzdem gar nicht was los ist. Ich hab erstmal einige Seiten gebraucht, um überhaupt zu verstehen, um was es überhaupt geht. Als ich das dann endlich mal verstanden hatte, kam aber schon die nächste Verwirrung. Es gab immer wieder skurille Einschübe, wo man nicht weiß was das überhaupt damit zu tun hat und von wem die überhaupt sind. An sich ist das ja eine gute Idee um Spannung aufzubauen, aber hier im Buch nicht gut umgesetzt.Überhaupt hatte ich durchweg das Gefühl, das die Story so vor sich hindümpelt. Ich musste mich echt zwingen das Buch weiter zu lesen. Obwohl ich die Geschichte vom Klappentext her sehr interessant fande und dachte, cool mal was mit Geistern. Aber es war einfach eine absolut spannungsfreie Zone. Zum Ende hin wurde es dann allerdings doch noch ein bisschen spannender, aber das Ende der Geschichte fande ich total absurd und hab das auch immernoch nicht so ganz verstanden, was da los war.Fazit:Ich hatte mich echt auf das Buch gefreut und mir einiges davon erhofft. Aber das ganze war dann doch ein ziemlicher Fail für mich. War wohl einfach nicht meine Geschichte. Trotzdem kann ich mir vorstellen, dass das Buch einigen von euch gefallen könnte. Yep. It is this books fault. It is the reason I skipped going to the gym to work out today, the reason I stayed up until 1 AM the past two nights and the reason I will read another of Ms. Jaffe's novels! While reading Ghost Flower, you need to suspend all reason, expect drama, and realize your desire to smack a couple of people will be ever present. While satisfied by the outcome, the last page was a little, shall I say, hokey.
