Walking Away by Adriane Boyd is a 5 Star Flutterworthy must read. I was instantly drawn to the blurb and beautiful cover that tied in so well with the storyline and emotions throughout. Written with extreme passion, choice wording, and vivid description, the pages flowed with "blinders on" direction, straight from the get-go to the very end. I believe this author really drove home the true meaning of "walking away." I can not wait to see what else Adriane Boyd has in store for us, as this is her first published work. 5 Stars for pure Amazeballs! I was drawn by content but then I started reading it and had to stop somewhere in the middle because I just couldn't take it anymore. I don't mind short stories, they can be well wiritten, but this one didn't have what it needed. It was rushed and shallow and I like to know my characters much better than that. It felt like reading something written by elementary school student. I am really sorry, I don't mean to scorn the writer, but I just have to express my honest opinion. I believe that this could have been a great novel if the author just took more time to develop the story and her characters. This way I just couldn't (though I really wanted to) find a way to connect with them... :/
