Forever Changes was a very eye-opening book. Brianna is an 18 year old with cystic fibrosis. She's a math genius, so her father wants her to go to college and use her abilities. She's reluctant, because she doesn't think she'll live long enough. But, she does eventually apply. This book made me realize to appreciate what you have, because someone out there wants what you have. I liked this book, but I felt it was too short for the storyline. A beautiful story about the brevity of life with cystic fibrosis. The protagonist is realistically conveyed and lovable; the supporting characters somewhat less well-drawn, but for a young adult novel, overall an excellent read. Reminded me a lot of the old Lurlene McDaniel books, but without the overwhelming sentimentality. Definitely a tear jerker, if you know anyone who has been lost to cystic fibrosis it is especially poignant, but a quick read, and a worthwhile one.
What do You think about Was Von Dir Bleibt (2011)?
this book was pretty stupid, but the ending was kind of sweet.
