3.5 stars. It was a cute, fluff read. I gotta say that the age difference bothered me a bit (She is almost 19 and he's 30). And why didn't she fall for Tom? He was so nice! Why the ornery one? Although it worked out and he wasn't so ornery after all. It was a nice happily, ever after. I admit to skimming some of Lark's thoughts but it was an easy read. I felt I had to read something for "swoon fest," lol!! Rating: 4 stars. This was a cute, enjoyable western romance. It somehow reminded me of "Little House on the Prairie" - sweet and wholesome.I really liked Tom and Slater, the two brothers who employed Lark as their cook and housekeeper. They were rugged, hard-working cowboys with very warm hearts. I thought Lark was a sweet and likeable character . She and Slater had some playful and tender moments together, but in my opinion, not enough of them. This was a lovely story. I now look forward to reading Tom's story in "The Windswept Flame".
What do You think about Weathered Too Young (2010)?
A really light and sweet read for when you just want to escape into a world of swoon worthy romance.
