Kelly presents a fairly well-rounded and thoughtful argument regarding the direction of technology and the role it does (and should) play in our lives. Some aspects of his argument were founded on shaky or questionable assumptions, but for the most part he presents his thesis very well. Most of the book was readable and accessible, but parts seemed a bit long and maybe a touch redundant. Overall a worthwhile read. An interesting, inspiring and hopeful look at where we've been and where we are going, talking about not just the "what" but the "why" as well. This book blurs the line between evolution and technological progress; Kevin Kelly does an amazing job painting the picture of this symbiotic relationship in an overall positive light... Technology is making us better and we are making it better and so on.
Best book on technology that I've ever read. Wonderful!
