I heard Alex opening his door and then the back door to grab his bag. In no time, he was next to me on the porch as I opened the front door. “You don’t lock your door?” He said shocked and a little stunned. “No, and I leave my keys in the ignition of my car too.” I shut the door and locked it behind him when he entered the doorway. I hung my purse on the hook and turned toward the hall. Alex grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and leaned my head on his chest. I had missed his smell and those arms.
