When Alex Was Bad: A Novel Of Erotic Suspense (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
First off, this short book is full of hot & steamy sex scenes - m/f, m/m, m/f/m - definitely not for the faint of heart. Also, if you are not comfortable reading about sex outside of marriage in what could be perceived as cheating, this might not be the book for you. In an attempt to salvage a failing marriage, Olivia & Alex agree to an open marriage agreement as long as Alex comes home to Olivia to confess his affairs and face his "punishment". As an attorney, Alex defends a client in a sex slavery case and enter the sexy & mysterious next door neighbor Jason who is connected to the attempts on Alex's life. Jason is also quickly brought into the couple's open marriage arrangement.I felt the suspenseful plot of the book a little far fetched and not developed enough to fully believe, however the well written sex scenes kept it captivating for me. In all, the plot and suspense is just okay, but the hot & kinky sex made up for it. This book was incredibly hot. My first erotica novel and I couldn't be happier in my decision. I found this book while browsing the $2.00 carts outside of my store an just happened to turn to a page where there were two guys hooking up, little did I know that after I bought it, it would turn out to have such hot action, and a really good story.Hot sexy and heartwarming. Olivia and Alex are having a rocking marriage when Olivia offers to open their marriage, as long as Alex confesses after each rendezvous and accepts any punishment she desires. They together meet Jason and the three of them embark on a delicious sexual adventure together.There's actually a good story behind this too, Alex is a lawyer representing a high profile client whose lackeys are out to kill him, which adds to the suspense and double-crossing sewn through the storyline. All in all, I really enjoyed this book and I hope to read more like it.
