When Love Is Not Enough (Unconditional Love, #1) (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
A heartbreaking story. Two tender souls and one hidden soul. One was too sensitive for this world. He loved two people and always try to win the love of a parent who should have been shot. This story holds your heart within the pages and you never know what a flip of the page will do next to it. Well written, beautiful characters and a love we all hope we could have. Highly recommended read. That being said, it is a sad, depressing read. So if you want to have your soul moved, grab this book. Okay..so here goes. This is my very first review on this site...But there was no way I could not express my feelings on this book. This book was absolutely stunning. I was so afraid to read it for personal reasons that it sat on my Kindle for what seemed like forever, looming there, taunting me to read it. After some gentle prodding from a friend (who was very invested in this book *wink wink*)I decided to forgo the book I was reading and give it a whirl. From the beginning I was expecting to cry. 90 pages in (At least it was 90 pages on my Kindle) there was one sentence...just a simple sentence and I was sobbing those big shuddery snotty tears. I loved all three of the main characters, although I wanted to punch Jamie a time or two. Though not malicious, he ended up hurting two amazing men. And boy did it HURT! I absolutely LOVED Matt and Darian. There pain was so compelling and real...raw even. I can't wait for the sequel to this book so I can find out how these guys are doing. I just really need to know they are okay. I have never wanted to hug fictional characters more,Jamie included. (Hopefully that is some indication about my love for these characters!)So if you have not read this and you are waivering..please give it a try. I read it in one sitting and even though it ripped my heart out I feel like I am better off for having read it. And when you are done..go hug someone. Hold em tight. And finally...thank you Wade for writing this book. I am happy I got to see into this journey that you wrote and come out the other side and feel like this book...this brutal gem of a book...will actually make me think..and talk..and CRY...and just hug the people i love. So thank you. Super puffy red eyed hugs!

Pretty good. Got a little far-fetched in the end.
