My first Durjoy Dutta book and most definitely my last. What a load of rubbish. I've read quite a few romance novels before but none that have made me cringe so much. Where to begin? The plot: ?!??! The characters: are you kidding me?! (Also, every unimportant character is called Arun. What's up with that?) I actually can't believe that this is one of the bestselling authors of India right now (published by Penguin, no less!). He almost makes Chetan Bhagat sound like a literary genius.God save Indian literature. the hangover of this left be stunned for few days after reading the book. the girl, avanti spend 8 months at a stretch, in the hospital for taking care of her love, devrat. she even didn't stepped out of the hospital even once in 8 months. one can imagine what through she have gone in those 8 months. not only this, when her love devrat, regained the conciousness, she found, he had slept to comma and paralyzed and want to die. but the girl didn't lose the courage and faced everything bravely.the book touches one's senses and emothons. so worth reading.
