Doyle was smart and strong, and a lowlife like Paul was no match for him. They might think that they’d battled him down, but Andy didn’t believe it. And she was determined to hold on until she knew the truth. So, dammit, she was staying alive, and Paul could just take his explosives and shove them, because she wasn’t dying just because he wanted her dead.
