I was really excited for this book because I was gasping for more Sophia and Marc at the end of Ivy Lessons...and I wasn't disappointed. I felt like this book was even tighter and the writing was more confident and engaging. Comparisons to other sexy trinities (you know what I mean) are inevitable, but I admire the way S.K. Quinn is charting her own ground in this series. My only complaint would be that I want Marc for myself and I don't want to share him with Sophia! I must admit, I got the first edition as a free download and the story did pull me in, and by the time I got to the end, it held me enough that I wanted to see how the story progressed. I just finished this edition and I must say that I enjoyed it more than the first one, or it may just be that the story is evolving. Sophia and Marc are making a go at taking their relationship public, and that is the basis for this entire book. Sophia is caught up in the joy of being with Marc, but extremely naïve as it relates to life in the spotlight along with retaining some level anonymity. Marc tries to protect her, but Sophia wants to keep her independence as well as make her own decisions, all based on her trusting nature. This leads to a lot of angst and difficulties. Along with that, we get to see both characters grow and mature as individuals and as a couple. Just when things start really getting good, we have to wait for the third installment, wouldn't you know.
