Why Did Jesus, Moses, The Buddha, And Mohammad Cross The Road? (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I love Brian McLaren. I love his humility. His insistence on loving the "other," his call to include, to serve, to respect. This was a good read, although I kept feeling like he drove the point home a little too repetitiously. I kept feeling like, "You already said this, but what you said was good (before)." I'd suggest this book to others, with the warning to maybe skim the parts that are repeats of what was already said. :) Very eye opening and illuminating about the concept and history of us (Christians) vs. them (other religions).Booked helped me to believe that I could indeed be a Christian and believe in other faiths simultaneouslyWhile this book is a very challenging read for someone like myself who has no biblical knowledge, it was definitely worth reading and grasping what I could. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very interesting. Look forward to discussing it with my church educators group next week.
