Well this left no impression on me whatsoever. Very underwhelmed by the title comic strip. There are some hidden gems, but definitely not the majority of those in this publication. For me, there is nothing that ties this book together. I enjoy his themed novels much much better. The grammar comics are the best....HINT: put them all together in one novel and I will buy tons of copies to give out... I've been a fan of the Oatmeal for a while now, and this is a strong collection of his work. It has highlights like 'What we should have been taught in our senior year of high school' and 'The pros and cos of living with your significant other', as well as some new sections, like the title (which was surprisingly interesting in its metaphor). If you're a fan of the Oatmeal, you'll enjoy this book (although it is definitely intended for older readers), and it works as a fair introduction to his work as well.
This was great. Laughed at almost every page. How have I never heard of The Oatmeal before?
