Got caught up in this story of a young Amish woman and her love of horses...and her family. The first couple chapters of the next book were good, too, but will have to wait for the whole book...This kind of book makes me yearn for a simpler life and a healthier me. I could not keep up with the work, but would enjoy the 'plain' way of living. Reading lets me be what I want for as long as there are pages to read! More beautiful wild horses abound in Linda Byler's Wild Horses. Linda is an Amish author and so her writing is much more true to the fact to me. Sadie is thrown into a new world as the family moved from Ohio to Montana. Change can be both difficult and exciting for all of us and Sadie is certainly discovering that. Will young Sadie find love in the beautiful Montana? Will her mother receive the proper medical intervention she needs so desperately? This series is written for young readers but is certainly very entertaining for adult readers as well. This is a good clean book for young readers. I received a free pdf version of this book from netgalley and the publishers in exchange for my honest review.
Great book! Some parts are rather sad. Looking forward to next book in series.
