I picked this up as a freebie and was pleased with the result. I did feel like the ending just happened. I would have liked an Epilogue instead of a paragraph putting a bow on it. Overall I loved the idea of two individuals that ultimately use tension and arguing as foreplay ... While I ultimately knew from the first chapter how the story would unfold, it was no less enjoyable and I found myself cheering for each character and I'm looking forward to the next chapter for these characters. Sandy Loyd's "Winter Interlude" is a romance novel that makes a great weekend read. Kate finds herself stuck in a sky resort with her boyfriend's brother Paul, who happens to be dating her BFF. Circumstances keep the other two from joining them as they had planned, and since Kate and Paul can hardly stand each other, they focus on the skiing . . . until they get snowed in. I really enjoyed this book and definitely want to check out more of Sandy Loyd's novels.
Wasn't great. It felt rushed and the characters undeveloped.
