Winter of the Wolf (The Wild Hunt Legacy) (Kindle Edition)Story of Breanne ,Shay and Zeb. All were with out any family. Zeb and Shay teamed up killing the hell hounds . Bree gets attacked in her home by a hell hound who then proceeds to kill and eat her friend. Bree is shocked to find the hell hound is part human. Bree, Shay and Zeb all fall in love with each other and find happiness together . A great read about shape shifters and another great story from Cherise Sinclair Sinclair is an auto-buy for me. I love everything about her stories, and I loved everything about "Winter of the Wolf."It's not quite as smokin' hot as "Hour of the Lion," the first book in the series, but it's still a really wonderful story, and in some ways I liked it better. I found Bree to be a more sympathetic heroine -- she's yearning for stability and a home..but she's willing to sacrifice those things to be with Zeb and Shay. Those guys are amazing heroes. They've lived lonely lives until they arrive in Cold Creek, seemingly destined to always be on the move as hunters of the dreaded hellhounds. They're really a great contrast to Bree, and it's sweet reading along as Sinclair brings them together. The only false note was when Zeb and Shay's hunter's oath was lifted after they fell in love with Bree and wanted to stay in Cold Creek. It's seems a rather hokey plot device, and I'm not sure why Sinclair painted herself into a corner with the oath in the first place, only to have to dance around to find a way she could keep her characters together.I'm hoping that Sinclair has more "Wild Hunt Legacy" books in the pipeline.
